BiographyOliver Steer BA Hons Graduating from Liverpool University with a BA Honours Degree in Architecture, Oliver Steer took a position as Assistant Designer and then Senior Designer for Mark Gillette, one of the county’s leading interior designers. In late 2005, Oliver started his own company, channelling his background and passion to offer a wide range of services including interior architecture, interior design, project coordination and furniture design. Oliver believes the elements of design range from the visual (colour, lighting, form) to the tactile (surface, shape, texture) to the auditory (noise, echo). Oliver has an aesthetic, practical and technical appreciation for these elements and understands how people respond to them and how in turn, they respond to each other. Oliver continues to draw inspiration from those interior designers who he most admires: Nina Campbell, John Stefanidis, Scott Saunders, Joanna Wood and Ernest de la Torre. |
