Our process has been developed to ensure the finest professional interior design service for our clients through all the stages of the design process from inception to finishing touches.
Every client has a set of unique project requirements. We are proud that we are ideally positioned to provide a bespoke service to each and every client. This clearly differentiates our proposition and has formed the cornerstone of our success over the years. However, due to the very diverse nature of the advisory and project management services that we undertake, we have paid particular attention to our terms of business to ensure that every client is:
- Treated fairly and secures exceptional value
- Absolutely aware of the fees that we shall earn
- Protected by terms that reflect their individual needs
Following an initial consultation with Oliver at your property, you will receive a letter of engagement detailing the work proposed based on your brief, with a quotation for professional fees. Known as a Phase 1 contract, this includes the development of design concepts and preliminary costing for the works involved.
After formally accepting the Phase 1 proposal, our design team conducts a full site survey to develop your brief further. They will make an inventory of furniture and artworks to be retained and catalogue any important structural details, drawing up each room into technical drawings. The design team will then make an analysis of spatial organisation, colour, light, form, and room function.
An interim presentation by Oliver will be arranged with you at either our Southport or Nantwich studios, giving you the opportunity to respond to the preliminary designs. Following that presentation the designs are then finalised and presented to you at your home in the form of drawings and sample boards, with the preliminary costings for the relevant works and furnishings. Furniture and materials are sourced worldwide to deliver exquisite designs tuned individually to each client.
During Phase 2 detailed design drawings are produced to enable formal estimating from the various sub-contractors and suppliers involved, including bespoke items where materials and construction details are required for accurate costing. Orders are placed upon acceptance of these final estimates and once the necessary deposits are paid.
Phase 3 sees the coordination of your project by us with all parties involved to ensure a smooth delivery of the scheme, including furniture and any finishing touches.
